Hi everyone, welcome back from the winter holidays! I hope you all had a relaxing break and are off to a good start with the new semester. Regular meetings will resume this week, with lots of fun Go activities planned for our members.I would also like to congratulate Ryan Li on his participation in this year's AGA Pro Tournament. This was an outstanding achievement for Ryan as a representative of Go at UofT and in Canada. We are all looking forward to hearing about his experiences when he returns! The newest AGA Professional is Calvin Sun (1p). Our next meeting will be this Friday, November 15th at 5:00PM in Galbraith Building, room GB 412 (please note the room location). This week we'll be having another Simul match with Ryan Li and William Shi. There will also be an interactive online game/lecture as well.The next CGL match will be this Saturday, November 16th at 1pm EST. We will be playing against Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). The first official meeting of 2013-14 will take place this Friday, September 13th at 5pm in GB404 (Galbraith Building).If this is your first time attending please e-mail uoftgoclub@gmail.com. We recently started our first advertising campaign, so keep your eyes open for our flyers that will be posted around campus.
This will be a great opportunity to reunite with your fellow club members, meet new friends, play some Go and have fun. We look forward to seeing you all there!
